Jumu’ah (Friday) Prayer: صلاة الجمعة
The congregational prayer held every Friday, considered a significant communal gathering in Islam. It includes a sermon (khutbah) delivered by the imam, followed by congregational prayer.
Daily Prayers (Salah): صلوات اليوم الخمسة
Five daily prayers, known as Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha, are offered throughout the day. These prayers provide regular opportunities for individual and congregational worship, fostering a deep connection with Allah.
Taraweeh Prayers: صلاة التراويح
Held during the holy month of Ramadan, Taraweeh prayers are performed after the evening prayer (Isha). These special prayers offer an extended recitation of the Qur’an and provide an opportunity for spiritual reflection and devotion.
Eid Prayers: صلاة العيد
Celebrated twice a year, Eid prayers mark the end of Ramadan (Eid al-Fitr) and the completion of Hajj (Eid al-Adha). Muslims gather in large congregations to perform these special prayers and engage in festive celebrations.
Night Prayers (Qiyam-ul-Layl): صلاة الليل
Optional prayers offered during the night, especially during the last ten nights of Ramadan. These voluntary prayers allow individuals to seek closeness to Allah through extended supplication and recitation.
